Through winding curves, past crossroads The road is right open Wide views of mountains, crowded city streets

Workers passing by, sunken deep into their minds Through the villages, along beaches Find peace from within

Just a roadtrip, more than anything Makes me come alive These contrasts and feelings, of all the things I see

Zipping past forests, sipping coffee halfway It all seems to make sense I need no destination, just time fuel and coffee

It feels so complete, nothing I seem to lack But once I return, into regular life That feeling passes, until the next time

What stays are the memories Of smiling people, dreamy faces We need to get out sometimes, if not the mind races

This spicy aroma On blue gloomy days In gas stations, offices Dimly lit student rooms This black and strong goodness Is spreading its love Even though it tastes bitter As life sometimes is It helps us do things That cause us some stress Exams, heavy workload And job interviews This black and strong goodness Is with us so often Cars, trains and planes And during first dates A spoonful of sweetness Changes its taste As each day is different It matches with you Though the same are the Mondays And late afternoons That give us a craving For this little pleasure Let us enjoy it Alone or with others For living without it We won't even bother

The birds hovering Through grey clouds And dark skies Passing all people Going about their lives

As nobody minds them So birds do not mind They seem to be thoughtless But sing like they're wise Most people don't see them Maybe just for a while

While waiting for something Like a bus or a train While observing the skies Birds sit there on cables That power our lives

The birds hovering Over blank empty faces With a slight look of boredom Of traveling back and forth

If only the faces Would pay attention some more With the singing of nature

Waiting for buses is not such a chore
